Uncertain about absolutely everything
I’m a little late to the Clawbies nominating party, as well as a little light in the posting department lately. I’m hoping the New Year will bring a somewhat more balanced work life, providing more available time for posting. Fingers crossed.
My nominated blogs are only 3 of the many Canadian law blogs that I check daily for new postings through my RSS reader. I regret that I can’t nominate all that I check for daily – there are so many Canadian law blogs providing so much valuable information to eager readers – the difficulty is keeping it to 3.
My first is Practice Pro’s Avoid a claim blog – I have a bias in favour of extremely practical, everyday helpful information and Avoid a claim scratches that itch. I often email links to their fraud posts out to our lawyers to remind them to ‘be careful out there’. More than once I’ve had a reply back letting me know that this information is so helpful in keeping them tuned in to the fraudulent emails they receive.
Next up is Connie Crosby: Another practically-oriented blog that touches on all manner of legal technology, social media and knowledge management information. Connie takes a straight-forward approach to her posts and the information she provides is both very accessible and very practical.
Last, but definitely not least, is David J. Bilinksy: Thoughtful Legal Management. Because David’s posts make me think, even when I try to avoid doing so. David’s posts are often passed on to others who will benefit from his insightful analysis and wide-ranging experience in all manner of legal management and more.
